In October 2010, Ubisoft and Aardman announced a partnership to produce a TV series pilot and several shorts based on the franchise.[1] One year later, it was announced that 78 7-minute CG animated episodes would be made solely by Ubisoft Motion Pictures' studio in France.[2] The show was originally commissioned by France Télévisions, which aired all of the seasons on their "France 3" channel. In the United States, the first three seasons were broadcast on Nickelodeon and NickToons before moving to Netflix for the fourth season.
On E3 2013, it was announced that it would be an interactive Xbox One show entitled Rabbids Invasion.[3] On July 12, 2013, it was announced the show would premiere on Nickelodeon on August 3, 2013.
On 2023, Nickelodeon announced Rabbids Invasion making film. In 2023, it was announced that it would be an film entitled Rabbids Invasion 10 Years Anniversary.
